The Jewelry Technical Center of Israel (JTCI), Tel Aviv's jewelry education center for both jewelry design and manufacture, marked the 15th anniversary of its founding in late October. The occasion was celebrated with an exhibition of jewelry creations, designed and created by students and former students of the center, at Tel Aviv city hall.
At the ceremony held to open the exhibition, David Taiber, the president of the Israel Jewelry Manufacturers Association, recalled the efforts of IJMA's founding and past president, Moshe Shaft, to bring about the establishment of a training center for jewelry manufacturing and jewelry design in Tel Aviv.
